About CannagarZA
CannagarZA is a South African maker of precision 3D-printed cannagar moulds. Each mould is designed in-house and printed to order from durable PLA filament, giving you a tool that produces consistent, slow-burning cannagars every time.
We offer five sizes – 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 12mm, and 16mm – available as single moulds, multi-packs of four, or as a combo pack. All orders ship from Stellenbosch, Western Cape.
What Is a Cannagar?
A cannagar is a compressed, slow-burning herbal cigar made using a mould. Ground flower is packed tightly around a central skewer, cured briefly, then wrapped in your choice of leaf or paper. The result is an even, long-lasting burn that can last anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours depending on size.
Cannagars use significantly less material per minute of burn time compared to a standard roll, making them both an experience and a more efficient way to enjoy your herb.
How to Use the Mould
- Assemble the mould – Insert the stainless steel rod (1.6mm TIG welding wire, cut to size) through the base of the mould using the included alignment positive.
- Fill and pack – Add ground flower in small layers through the funnel. Use the packing tool to compress each layer firmly and evenly. Avoid over-packing, which restricts airflow.
- Cure – Leave the packed mould in an airtight container for a minimum of 2-4 hours. For best results, cure overnight.
- Remove the core – Open the mould carefully and slide out the compressed core.
- Wrap – Wrap the core in hemp paper, tobacco leaf, or your preferred wrapper. Optionally apply concentrate to the outside before wrapping for added flavour.
- Remove the rod – Slide out the centre rod to create the airflow channel.
- Light and enjoy – Use a torch or lighter to ignite evenly across the tip. The hollow centre ensures a smooth, even draw.

All products are 3D printed to order. Standard dispatch time is 3-5 business days from receipt of payment confirmation.

We currently ship within South Africa only. You will receive a tracking number once your order is dispatched. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Payment
We accept payment via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) only. Your order will be processed once payment is received and confirmed in our bank account.
After placing your order, email your proof of payment to cannagarza@gmail.com with your order number as reference.
Returns and Refunds
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we will guide you through the return process.
- Refunds are processed once the returned item is received and inspected.
- Refunds are issued via EFT to your bank account.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
- If you receive a defective or incorrectly printed product, we will replace it or issue a full refund including return shipping costs.
