What it is
A precision two-part mould for forming a 10mm cannagar, a cigar of tightly compressed flower with a hollow core that burns slow, smooth, and remarkably even. At 10mm it is our most popular, best-balanced size.
What is included
Everything you need to form the cannagar: two mould halves, two clamping collars, a matched tamper, a centring guide, and the centre rod that creates the airflow channel. It arrives as a complete kit, ready to use. All you add is your flower and something to wrap it in.
Built to last
Printed to order in tough PLA+, a stronger and more durable upgrade on standard PLA. Wipe it clean between uses and it is built to be reused for years, so it pays for itself many cannagars over. Made one at a time in Stellenbosch.
How to use it
- Grind your flower fairly fine and even.
- Clamp the two halves together with the collars and slide the centre rod down the middle.
- Pack the flower in small amounts, pressing firmly with the tamper after each, until it is dense.
- Leave it clamped to set, a few hours, or overnight for the smoothest burn.
- Withdraw the rod, open the mould, and ease out your formed cannagar.
- Wrap it (see below) and enjoy.
If your flower is dry and will not hold together, lightly mist it with water before packing, or work in a little kief or a touch of concentrate to help it bind. The mould is 3D-printed, so pack with firm, steady pressure. It does not need to be forced, and forcing it can crack the plastic.
What to wrap it in
At 10mm it is a little thick for a single rolling paper. A hemp wrap or blunt wrap works best, with a rolled-card tip, or none at all.
Wraps, tips and filters are available from any tobacconist, headshop, or online. We do not stock them yet.
Why 10mm
Holds roughly 4 to 6g and forms an 80mm cannagar, a 40 to 55 minute slow burn. Enough to share, never overwhelming. If you are unsure which size to choose, start here.

FAQ
Do I need anything else? Just your flower and something to wrap it in. The mould arrives complete, including the centre rod and tamper.
How long does it burn? A 10mm cannagar gives roughly 40 to 55 minutes, depending on how densely it is packed.
How is it different from a joint? It is denser, slower, and far longer lasting, and the hollow core gives an even draw. A considered, cigar-style smoke rather than a quick roll.
Do I have to make a full one? No. Pack less for a shorter cannagar and you still get the even, slow burn that comes from compacting. The gram ranges are for a full-length cannagar.
